Mesa, AZ, US - Throughout Airick's early years in his birthplace of Toledo, Ohio, he was always known as a very energetic child - singing, dancing and entertaining. He was the focal point of entertainment at many family functions.

Always with a passion and desire to perform, he joined many groups early on in his singing career. Honing his craft and joining the military in 1982, Airick set out to explore the world and find himself. In 1986, he arrived in Phoenix, Arizona where there was a small, but thriving Hip-Hop and R & B movement where he met Producer "Daddy J" of RIFFMATIC RECORDS.

Together, they were involved in singing with other groups. However, Airick desired a chance to showcase his solo skills and now sets his eyes on carving a place in R & B history.
