Kingston, JM - My Story is much like any other outstanding Jamaican musicians: I grew up in Stony Hill, Kingston, ghetto of Brooks Level - where I still live. It was a survival-of-the-fittest lifestyle, where material possessions mean everything. Tempted to take the path towards gangs, violence, and drugs, I finally soldiered my battle. Now my life centers around Jah, my son Joshua,my family, and my music. I see life in music, but to provide for my son and family, I work as a carpenter. I aspire to one day sing my songs to a vast audience and through my words, inspire and encourage millions all over the world as music has so blessedly done for me.
