Rochester, MN, US - Born into a musical family on an army base in Texas during the Vietnamese War, Marty developed into a bright an intense young man with strong spiritual learnings and adeep reverence for the earth and people. He has moved around to participate in mass demonstrations and in 1997, left for Poland for a short time.
The adventure has left an indelible mark on the then-fledging songwriter, as well as deepening his understanding of the world, which changed his writing. "I visited a war museum and saw the very very poor, watched the best new Jazz I had ever seen. It showed me that we can do anything we want" he says. Marty has 2 solo album to his name and has collaborated with other artists around Canada and the US while working on a single.
