The Tape - September 2010

1. Luke Bredin

Music enthusiast who grew up practicing the piano at an early age, Luke has become a music producer from the UK. "Obsessions" is one of my favourite tracks, which won in a competition for a radio show: iPhoneslutz. The intro just grabs you with the captivating vocal hook. Check out more of Luke's latest tracks, and what about getting his soon-to-be released "Emotions" EP?

2. Castles

"Hi! We're castles and we hope you like us! Asa plays stuff, and so does Jan. The music sounds exactly like what the titles would imply"

"Nations" takes you like the wind and ocean. I love how the guitar interplays with every single musical element - glitches, melodies, pads and wave sound effects! Top notch. Please get all their downloadable tracks/sound clips at soundcloud.

3. Cobi

Born in Grosseto, Italy and now based in Edinburgh, Cobi has Dj-ed since 2003. He produces a wide variety of electronic music genres, but I dig his style in Dubstep. I can imagine "Manky" giving clubbers a crazy vibrations to their bodies! Another notable track to check out, "Raptor" - synth leads are LAZRTag dopeness!

**BONUS**

Includes: JMAYMUSIC "Bucky Done Gun (RMX) - M.I.A", Galapaghost "Human Unkind (EP Release)", & Vim Cortez "Tenderoni (RMX) - Kele"

Comebacks: Laurent Leemans & Ophex
