Toks

Paris, FR - Nigerian-French born, Toks went on to continue his studies in France after living in Nigeria till he was 15. Music had a great influence to his life, when he enrolled into a Gospel choir which equipped him to sing in French more proficiently. Toks then started composing his own music which is more in the style of urban and left the choir 2 years later.

He formed a group, called "SVC" - Smooth Vibes Crew, which comprises of M-jay, Lanrey cool, Nelly O & himself. Even before the group churned out a mixtape together, Toks was in mid-way through working on his album "85-10". The album reflects musical influences and transitions he has witnessed since a kid born in '85. A mixture of French, English & Pidgin are even sung well and comfortably by Toks himself.
